TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES

Welcome to the Conversation Design Institute ("CDI"). By subscribing to our course platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("T&C"). Please read them carefully before proceeding.

  1. SUBSCRIPTION MODELS & COMMITMENT PERIOD

1.1 CDI offers two subscription models with identical terms but different pricing structures:
Monthly Subscription: 12-month commitment, paid monthly.
Annual Subscription: 12-month commitment, paid upfront with a 20% discount.
1.2 Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled in accordance with Section 5 (Cancellation & Renewal).1.3 All subscriptions grant access to CDI’s course platform for the selected period.

2. PAYMENT TERMS

2.1 Payment Provider: Payments are securely processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize CDI to initiate recurring payments from your selected payment method through Stripe for the applicable fees. Stripe is the payment portal behind the CDI platform.
2.2 Accepted Payment Methods:
  • Credit and Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, China UnionPay.
  • Digital Wallets: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, Click to Pay, Cash App Pay.
  • Bank Debits: ACH Direct Debit (US), SEPA Direct Debit (Europe), Bacs Direct Debit (UK), BECS Direct Debit (Australia).
  • Buy Now, Pay Later: Affirm, Afterpay/Clearpay, Klarna.
  • Bank Redirects: iDEAL, Bancontact, FPX, BLIK, Przelewy24, EPS.
Note: Availability of payment methods may vary based on your location and the specific terms of each provider. By selecting a specific payment method, you agree to comply with any terms imposed by the respective payment provider.
2.3 Billing Cycle:
  • Monthly Subscription: Billed monthly on the same calendar day as the initial purchase.
  • Annual Subscription: Billed once upfront for the full year.
2.4 Currency & Taxes: Prices are displayed in [Insert Currency] and may be subject to applicable taxes based on your location. Taxes will be calculated at checkout.
2.5 Failed Payments: If a payment fails, CDI may retry the charge or suspend access until the issue is resolved. Late or missed payments do not affect the commitment period. Subscribers are responsible for maintaining up-to-date payment information. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of access to the platform.

3. CANCELLATION & RENEWAL

3.1 Minimum Commitment:
  • All subscriptions have a 12-month minimum commitment.
  • Early cancellations do not void the payment obligation for the remaining term.
3.2 Renewal Policy:
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
  • Monthly Subscription renews monthly; Annual Subscription renews annually at the prevailing rate.
3.3 How to Cancel:
  • Cancellations can be made via your account settings on the CDI platform or by contacting support at [email protected].
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

4. REFUNDS & TERMINATION

4.1 Refund Policy:
  • CDI offers a 5-day refund window from the start of the initial subscription only. Refunds are not provided after this period.
  • Renewal payments and monthly installment payments under the 12-month commitment are non-refundable.
4.2 Exceptional Refunds: CDI may, at its discretion, issue refunds in cases of documented platform inaccessibility or other service failures caused by CDI.
4.3 Termination by CDI: CDI reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if there is a violation of these T&C or failure to make payments. No refunds will be granted in such cases.

5. USER CONDUCT & ACCOUNT SECURITY

5.1 Account Responsibility: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and may not share access.
5.2 License & Restrictions: Course content is for individual use only and may not be copied, shared, or resold without CDI’s explicit permission.

6. MODIFICATIONS & CONTACT

6.1 Changes to Terms: CDI reserves the right to update these T&C. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms. In the event of significant changes to these Terms & Conditions, especially those affecting payment terms or subscription models, we will notify subscribers via email at least 30 days prior to the changes taking effect.

7. COMMUNICATIONS

7.1 Conversation Design Institute may contact you via email discussing academy related releases, promotional activity along with other updates. You reserve the right to unsubscribe to these communications.
By subscribing, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
